A great amateur photo trip to Catalina Island... enjoy the sites of Avalon.

This is just one of the many things to see and do when living or visiting in Southern California.  There are daily trips to and from Catalina from the Orange County coastal cities of Dana Point and Newport Beach.  L.A. residents and tourist and can leave from Long Beach as did the the creators of this video.

There are also 4 & 7 day cruises to Mexico from the Port of Los Angeles and Long Beach that include a day on Catalina.  You will see the cruise ships in the back ground of this video.  This is truly a great way to visit without having to make arrangements for hotels and other transportation.  You simply stay onboard the ship ant the cruise director will arrange all needed transportation for you.
